Job summary

Ardagh Group in California is seeking a Front End Attendant to support front-end operations, receive and transport coils, and maintain safe housekeeping in the plant. You will operate class 1, 4 and 5 industrial trucks, lift up to 26,000 lbs, and follow Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, and SQF procedures.

This role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and willingness to work in a fast-paced metal packaging environment.

Qualifications

Familiar with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Experience in container manufacturing preferred.
Ability to navigate computer-based programs.
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Responsibilities

Operate class 1, 4 and 5 industrial trucks to transport items up to 26,000 lbs.
Receive and prepare aluminum coils and related materials.
Maintain housekeeping and comply with safety SOPs (Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding).
Identify materials, load scrap for baling, and operate baler.
Transport materials to storage, machines, and docks; input data into computer systems.
Assist frontend production team as needed; perform routine inspections of lift trucks.
