Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging in Illinois seeks an Industrial Truck Operator to move materials between storage, machines and loading docks, following prescribed methods.

You will work from schedules, operate lift trucks, assist production, and participate in quality checks and safety routines. The starting pay rate is $23.99 per hour, with increases per the Collective Bargaining Agreement and potential bonuses depending on plant metrics.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience required.
• Manufacturing/Industrial experience 1-3 years.
• Basic math skills.
• Exposed to moderate-to-high noise level.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Identify product types and labels, and move items according to schedule.
• Use hand truck, dolly, and strapping equipment to secure loads.
• Handle pallets and repile spilled loads, manage scrap.
• Record incoming and outgoing production and supplies.
• Load finished product into trailers and secure with airbags and dunnage.
