Job summary

Price Rite is seeking a Front End Manager to oversee cash handling, payroll, front-end service and bookkeeping at Price Rite of WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA. The role includes coordinating community programs and supervising cashiers and front-end staff to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include managing daily front-end operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting store-level events and promotions to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (A.A.) from two-year College or university.
• Five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence; present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Experience in store operations and work scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of Front End Operations, including cash management, bookkeeping, front-end service and payroll.
• Coordinate community and store event programs throughout the store.
• Supervise cashiers, bookkeepers and front-end staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and QA and sanitation standards.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train and develop all front-end personnel.
• Troubleshoot system/hardware issues as they pertain to operations.
