Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Perm

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Occasional Saturdays.
• 5:30a - 3:30p or 7:30a - 5:30p.

We are currently seeking an experienced Front-End Loader Operator to join our team at a busy recycling facility in Gainesville, FL.

This is a hands-on position where sorting materials on the line is the primary responsibility, with equipment operation (front-end loader or skid steer) as needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent experience operating a front-end loader and/or skid steer, preferably in an industrial or recycling environment. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate front-end loader and/or skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Sort recyclable materials (paper and co-mingled items) on the processing line.
• Assist with general labor tasks throughout the facility as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Support the team in achieving daily production goals.
• Learn and apply knowledge of various entry-level roles within the facility.

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of recent front-end loader and/or skid steer experience.
• Recycling facility experience highly preferred.
• Understanding of sorting procedures for paper and co-mingled materials.
• Willingness to take on multiple responsibilities and learn new tasks.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and goal-driven.
• Forklift experience is a plus (not required).
