Darling Ingredients is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to ensure a steady flow of material for processing. You will receive training to operate a Front End Loader and use it to mix raw materials, unload and load product to meet production goals.

The role requires operating yard and plant equipment, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining safety as a top priority according to company rules. Weekend or holiday coverage may be required as business needs arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math, and strong reading/comprehension skills.
• Able to work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates yard and plant equipment to load materials.
• Maintains raw material mixture and ensures efficient mix rate.
• Performs daily maintenance on loader before each shift.
• Washes plant equipment and work areas with high pressure washer.
• Maintains a clean work area and safe driving zones.
• Follows safety rules and company regulations.
