Job summary

Conti Civil LLC in Asheboro, NC is seeking an experienced Loader Operator for local projects. You will safely operate a front-end loader to move dirt, pipes and material, perform pre-shift inspections, and coordinate with ground crew on pipe installations.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of loader experience, underground utilities exposure, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience operating Front End Loader.
• 2 years experience with underground Water/Sewer/Storm Drain pipes.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Commitment to safety on construction sites with exposure to heat, dust, fumes and noise.
• Ability to work independently and meet daily schedules.
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation to jobsite.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
• Experience with basic tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift 360 walk-around inspection of equipment.
• Operate front-end loader and related equipment.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and material.
• Move materials to/from trucks, storage, or processing areas.
• Assist with excavation and pipe installation activities.
• Rig and lower pipe, manhole barrels, etc., safely in excavation.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals.
• Maintain equipment and perform daily upkeep.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties and operate other equipment as needed.
