Job summary

Conti Civil LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to safely operate front-end loader equipment on our Raleigh-area projects. The role requires performing pre-shift inspections, loading materials, and coordinating with ground personnel to place water, storm, and sanitary sewer pipes.

You will work in demanding outdoor conditions, adhere to safety policies, and contribute to timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating Front End Loader.
• 2 years’ experience in underground utilities working with Water, Sewer, and Storm Drain pipes.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform documented pre-shift 360 walk-around inspection of the equipment.
• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers to operate equipment.
• Operate loader to lift and transport bulk materials to and from trucks, storage, or processing areas.
• Work with ground personnel in excavation and installation processes.
• Ensure safe rigging and lowering of materials into excavations.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and position loads accordingly.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and material.
• Maintain and clean equipment and perform daily maintenance.
