Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to storage areas and to feed conveyors, hoppers and load trucks or railcars.
• Start engine, shift gears, steer and control loader movements for loading and moving materials.
• Move levers to raise/lower, tilt, or dump bucket while handling bulk materials.
• Verify material quantities and ensure quality of raw materials in storage bins and hoppers.
• Perform routine maintenance on loaders such as lubrication, fueling and cleaning.
• Adhere to safety rules and comply with state, federal and local regulations while on site.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to resolve issues and improve performance.
