Job summary

Lignetics in Shelton, WA is seeking a Front End Loader Operator to support raw material handling and blending. The role involves loading, inspecting materials, and coordinating with the production team to maintain smooth workflow.

Requires a HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years of loader experience; physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and perform basic math are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years loader operation experience preferred.
• Good eye, hand and foot coordination.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods and multi-task.
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or sit long.
• Able to climb in/out of loader; comfortable with heights and confined spaces.
• Ability to do simple math and use basic tools; mechanical aptitude for maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Mix material per specification to ensure production is set up for upcoming days with proper blend and moisture content.
• Receive incoming loads of raw materials and separate by species.
• Inspect quality of raw material and notify leadership of defects.
• Load infeed bin per production schedule requirements.
• Conduct loader inspections and perform loader maintenance.
• Communicate status of work flow with co-workers.
• Other accountabilities as required.

M-Th, 6a - 4:30p and F 7a - 3:30p

Salary:

$22/hour

Front End Loader Operator Job Duties

Raw Material Material Mixing and Intake Process:

• Mix material per specification to ensure production is set up for upcoming days to ensure proper blend and moisture content.
• Receiving incoming loads of raw materials and separate by species.
• Inspect quality of raw material to standard and notify plant leadership of any defects.
• Load infeed bin per production schedule requirements.
• Conduct loader inspections and perform loader maintenance.
• Communicate with co-workers regarding status of work flow.
• Other accountabilities as required.

Front End Loader Operator Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One to two years loader operation experience in an industrial setting highly preferred.
• Will need good eye, hand and foot coordination.
• Will need the ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task.
• Will need to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and stand and sit for long periods of time.
• Will need to climb up and down stairs to get in and out of loader with no fear of confined spaces or heights.
• Requires the ability to do simple math calculations, use basic tools, and exhibit mechanical aptitude when conducting loader maintenance.
