Job summary

Walmart in Apple Valley, MN is seeking a Store Leader to supervise hourly associates, drive sales and manage budgets and inventory. You will implement company initiatives to improve the customer experience and lead teams across store operations, merchandising, and community programs.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training and mentoring.
