The role requires deep frontend expertise, translating UX/UI designs into accessible, production-ready interfaces, and mentoring junior developers while collaborating with system engineers and product stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD.
• Twelve (12) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Recent experience with Angular and RxJS (Fron-End)-UI.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of UI developers, designing front-end architecture and coding standards while remaining hands-on in development across the full software product lifecycle in an agile environment.
• Architect and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks.
• Translate prototypes and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible interfaces.
• Partner with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser issues, and technical debt.
• Participate in sprint planning, technical estimation, and architectural decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) throughout development.
