Erias Ventures, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking an experienced UI Front End Software Engineer to lead a team delivering mission-critical front-end interfaces. You'll translate designs into production-ready, accessible web apps and work closely with backend engineers in an agile setting.

The role emphasizes mentorship, architectural input, and collaboration with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure high-quality, scalable front-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Twelve years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of additional SWE experience on similar projects may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical guidance, standards, and code reviews.
• Architect and implement scalable front-end solutions using modern frameworks.
• Translate prototypes and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible interfaces.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs, ensuring efficient data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
• Contribute to full-stack development efforts including backend services, database interactions, and deployment pipelines.
• Establish and enforce front-end coding standards, best practices, and component reuse across the team.
• Partner with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser issues, and technical debt.
• Participate in sprint planning, technical estimation, and architectural decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG) throughout development.
