Job summary

Price Rite, SECANE, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Front-End Lead Clerk to oversee front-end operations and cash handling, reporting to the Front-End Manager. The role emphasizes accurate cash control, customer service, and cross-training across departments to support a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Understand and follow direction given.
• Stand, bend, reach and stoop while performing the job.
• Work a flexible schedule including daytime, evening and weekends.
• Maintain a satisfactory cash record (less than 2 errors in 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Accountable for cash office controls such as safe counts, cashier tills reconciliation and deposits.
• Organize, clean and maintain cash office and front-end work stations.
• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Communicate to all levels of management.
• Adhere to front-end procedures, policies and practices.
• Perform cash handling functions including ringing the register.
• Travel to other stores as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
