Job summary

Price Rite of ALLENTOWN is seeking a Part-Time Front-End Lead Clerk to join our Operations team in Allentown, PA. You will manage front-end operations, oversee cash handling and service quality, and support the Front-End Manager in daily tasks.

The role requires excellent English, a flexible schedule including weekends, and a proven cash-handling record. This position provides opportunities for growth and involvement in a team that values customer service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English
• Understand and follow directions
• Stand for long periods and perform duties while bending, reaching and stooping
• Work a flexible schedule including daytime, evenings and weekends
• Possess a satisfactory cash-handling record (few errors)

Responsibilities

• Accountable for cash office controls: safe counts, cashier tills, deposits, reports, coin and gift cards.
• Organize, clean and maintain cash office and front-end work stations.
• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Communicate with all levels of management and adhere to front-end procedures.
• Perform cash handling and ringing of the register.
• Travel to other Price Rite stores as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Follow store security policies and use of keys as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned
