Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, professional customer service at the register.
• Scan and key items into the register accurately.
• Process all payments per PCC standards.
• Perform basic math and 10-key accuracy.
• Explain PCC membership and programs to customers.
• Handle merchandise returns in a friendly manner.
• Bag groceries per PCC guidelines and keep the area tidy.
• Maintain department sanitation, safety, and cleanliness.
• When acting as PIC, supervise the front end and store operations.
• Address security issues carefully and protect staff, customers, and PCC property.
• Resolve equipment issues promptly and follow store standards.
