Job summary

Lendbuzz Inc. is seeking a front-end-focused full-stack Software Engineer to build intuitive, high-quality user experiences while contributing to backend services that support and scale them.

You will play a key role in developing and scaling our underwriting team experience, owning features from design through deployment and collaborating closely with design, product, and backend teams to deliver scalable, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years building modern React-based web applications; Next.js a plus.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful API design.
• Solid understanding of OOP and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with AWS or cloud-based infrastructure.
• Bonus: NestJS, WebSockets, Ruby on Rails, and/or Python experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of agile software development including design, testing and deployment.
• Build and evolve high-performance frontend applications using Next.js with emphasis on usability and scalability.
• Contribute to backend services using Node.js and NestJS, supporting RESTful APIs.
• Apply OOP and modern JavaScript to write clean, maintainable, testable code.
• Architect systems optimized for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with design, product, backend and underwriting teams to deliver features.
