Qualifications

• COMMUNICATION: Write, speak, hear and understand to respond promptly to pages, requests and guests.
• EQUIPMENT: May need to use box cutters, knives, bread slicer and other power-driven equipment.
• PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Regular walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching.
• EXPERIENCE: None required.
• REASON ABILITY: Apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote morale within department and store with honest, open communication.
• Maintain good relationships with other department managers to improve sales storewide.
• Comply with company policies and directives as in Code of Conduct.
• Provide professional examples for store team members to follow.
• Bag guests' purchases promptly and assist to their cars in a friendly, safe manner.
• Fill bag slots and supply for efficient front-end operations.
• Assist with price checks and go-backs.
• Assist with general housekeeping and sweep sheet duties as assigned.
• Keep parking lot clear of carts and return them to proper location; remove clutter and wipe kids carts.
