Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging in Chicago is seeking a Front End Maintainer to set up, adjust, repair, and overhaul front end equipment. You will read reports, plan repairs, and perform precise inspections.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical manufacturing, familiarity with hand tools, and knowledge of chemical handling. The position involves overtime and working in a fast-paced environment in North America.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and able to work with hand tools.
• Familiar with handling chemicals and solvents safely.
• Minimum of 5+ years in mechanical/manufacturing environments.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Understands and complies with safety SOPs and work instructions including Lockout/Tagout, chemical handling, machine guarding, housekeeping, SQF, and PPE.
• Rebuild, repair, or overhaul frontend and related equipment.
• Install, adjust, synchronize, and repair equipment or parts as required including large presses and dies, and transfer equipment.
• Instruct, train, and certify other equipment mechanics as directed.
• Diagnose, adjust, repair, and set up assigned equipment.
