Job summary

Pioneer Circuits, Inc. in Santa Ana, CA, is looking for a Front-End Engineering Manager to lead the Planning and CAM Engineering teams and to ensure complete, manufacturable engineering data for aerospace-grade PCBA production.

The role partners with Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering to improve manufacturability, standardize practices, and drive continuous improvement across the front-end process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive PCB manufacturing experience including Planning Engineering, CAM Engineering, Process Engineering, or Front-End Engineering.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Planning Engineering and CAM Engineering teams with clear priorities and accountability.
• Oversee front-end engineering workflow from order review to manufacturing release, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
• Manage department workload and priorities to support production schedules while balancing customer commitments.
• Provide technical leadership for complex PCB technologies including high-layer-count designs and sequential lamination.
• Ensure customer drawings, specs, and requirements are accurately translated into manufacturing documentation.
