Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Front End Software Engineer for the SITE III DO contract to sustain and evolve mission-critical applications for the U.S. Intelligence Community. The role is fully on-site in Indian Head, MD and requires work within a SCIF.

You will design, develop, test, and debug front-end software using JavaScript frameworks, ensure 508 compliance, and support multiple browsers. A TS/SCI clearance (or eligibility) with polygraph is required or obtainable, with flexible hours in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience or advanced degrees with commensurate experience.
• Active TS/SCI or SCI eligibility with polygraph.
• Experience with Javascript, Jquery, Angular, Bootstrap or similar UI framework.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Java.
• Proven prototyping in HTML or PowerPoint.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Fulltime work in a SCIF is required, but hours are flexible.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems.
• Collaborates with hardware engineers in planning and design of data processing systems.
• Analyzes user needs and system capabilities to resolve problems within time and cost constraints.
• Ensures software standards are met.
• Coordinates software system installations and monitors equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
