Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a Front-End Software Engineer I to develop and maintain the front-end of web applications, including mobile-responsive interfaces. You will design intuitive user interfaces and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The role emphasizes cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and performance optimization using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Angular. A Bachelor’s degree and 0–4 years of experience are preferred.

• Experience or knowledge in Python
• Knowledge of databases
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems
• Familiarity with front-end development and user interface technologies
• Experience with or knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Angular

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements, advocating for user-centric software solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering software using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Follow architecture guidelines to support a unified and coherent approach to development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, back-end developers, and architects.
• Create mock-ups and prototypes to visualize new features and participate in user interface design reviews and product demos.
• Perform functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure quality development.
• Improve application performance by fixing bugs, optimizing the application, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Apply programming practices related to cross-browser compatibility testing, SEO principles, and accessibility standards.
• Design, develop, and deliver user-friendly, interactive experiences using enterprise brand standards and templates for a consistent user experience.
• Work with technologies and languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Angular.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in user interface design.
