About The Role
We are seeking a Front End Software Engineer (Level 2) to join our fully remote engineering team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining robust front-end features across both web and native mobile platforms. This position is ideal for engineers who are passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

As a core member of our engineering team, you'll be involved in the full development lifecycle—from ideation to deployment—and have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, contribute to strategic technical decisions, and make a meaningful impact on the user experience of our growing product suite.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and ship high-quality, scalable features for web and native applications using React and React Native
2. Maintain and refactor legacy code to improve performance and reliability
3. Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks
4. Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design and implement features
5. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
6. Stay up-to-date with front-end development best practices and propose improvements to tooling and workflows

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
3. Deep experience with React and React Native (Expo)
4. Skilled at working with REST APIs
5. Familiar with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, and Testing Library
6. Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
7. Understanding of software security best practices
8. Experience with front-end performance optimization

Bonus Qualifications

1. Familiarity with Next.js and Vercel
2. Backend experience with Go or Node.js
3. Scripting experience in Python or Bash
4. Understanding of Docker and containerization
5. Experience collaborating with design teams via Figma

Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000 USD
