Job summary

Benz Technology Inc. seeks a Front-End Developer to build accessible UI with Section 508 and WCAG AA compliance. You will work in an Agile team, performing hands-on front-end engineering and accessibility validation, including screen reader proficiency, throughout the full development lifecycle.

You will design, develop, and test interfaces, partner with UX/UI designers, and embed accessibility in design and code, plus integrate automated checks into the pipeline.

Qualifications

• Front-end development with modern JavaScript (Vue) and accessibility focus.
• Experience testing with JAWS and assistive technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Section 508, WCAG AA, ARIA practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain accessible front-end UI per Section 508 and WCAG AA.
• Perform accessibility testing with JAWS and remediate issues.
• Conduct audits, document findings, and produce test reports.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product owners early in design.
• Integrate automated accessibility checks into CI/CD (axe-core, Pa11y, Lighthouse).
