Job summary

Callaway Golf Company is hiring a hybrid frontend software engineer in Austin, TX. You’llDesign, build, and maintain storefront features with Next.js 16, integrate SFCC via OCAPI/SCAPI, and work with GraphQL/REST services to connect the storefront to commerce microservices.

You’ll collaborate with UX, backend, and merchandising teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, write clean TypeScript/JavaScript, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and observability practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, with significant time on e-commerce platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js (v14+, ideally v16) and React, including App Router and Server Components.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals and modern caching strategies (ISR, Cache Components).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain storefront features using Next.js 16 on Vercel.
• Integrate front-end applications with Salesforce Commerce Cloud via SCAPI/OCAPI.
• Build and consume GraphQL and REST services connecting storefront to SFCC and microservices.
• Optimize for Core Web Vitals, performance, and SEO across a large catalog.
• Collaborate with UX/design, backend, and merchandising teams to translate requirements into tech solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical docs and coding standards.
