Job summary

The DC Office on Aging is seeking an IT Specialist to support management, enhancement, and development of front-end application technology solutions. This role involves creating technical design documentation, designing application architecture, and developing reports tailored to specific user needs.

Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree in Information Technology, 4+ years of experience in a large-scale development program, and be proficient in .NET Framework, C#, SQL, and JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Full knowledge of the .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, AJAX, and MVC.
• Experience in SQL and SQL Database design including Stored Procedures.
• Familiarization with REST API design and development.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical decisions for one or many projects/teams.
• Act as liaison for client-side technical expertise.
• Direct operations related to escalated technical issues.
• Demonstrate interest in improving technical awareness across the business.
