Job summary

DC Health, the District of Columbia Department of Health, is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (Application Developer/Integration Architect) to design and oversee enterprise data models and integration architecture. You will collaborate with developers, data analysts, and IT staff to deliver secure, scalable applications and APIs, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management, or equivalent 24 semester hours with applicable development work.
• Four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, upgrade, and enhance enterprise data models to support critical applications and services.
• Define infrastructure for application and integration design, cloud-based systems, and high availability web/cloud apps.
• Lead integration architecture improvements and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure security and compliance.
