Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering questions about products sold within the department and store.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with recommendations.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Handle returns and exchanges per company policies.
• Communicate new and ongoing promotions to customers.
• Follow policies for service desk procedures (postage, money orders, etc.).
• Manage funds, coupons, and different tender types per policy.
• Stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Monitor inventory and ordering systems for accuracy.
• Label and stock merchandise in the department.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
