Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and resolves concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Identifies and shops customer orders to ensure accurate and fresh orders.
• Operates front-end register and bagging procedures; handles payments and coupons.
• Contacts customers by phone to address questions or concerns.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, promotions and store layout.
• Ensures accurate transaction processing and cash drawer security.
• Follows tobacco and alcohol sale guidelines and health/OSHA requirements.
• Maintains department sanitation and cleans work areas, counters and displays.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supports other departments when needed.
• Uses PPE correctly and adheres to safety procedures.
