Job summary

The Kroger in White Rock, NM is seeking a part-time Bagging/Courtesy Clerk to provide a welcoming customer experience and efficient checkout. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, and maintain a clean, inviting store environment.

Responsibilities include processing transactions at the check lane, understanding the POS system, and handling various tender types and coupons while following safety, loss prevention, and store policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the Point of Sale (POS) system, and handle various tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, Offline SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, complex loyalty offers, coupons and checkout procedures according to company policy.
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.
