Kroger Family of Companies in Grand Junction, CO is seeking friendly team members for cashier/bagger roles. You will greet customers, ring transactions, and operate the POS system to process payments accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities include following company policies on cash, coupons, and promotions, maintaining food safety practices, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic math skills.

Responsabilités

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons) per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and work to prevent loss.
• Follow policies on restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Follow food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and report needed repairs.
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with questions.
