Job summary

ShopRite of East Windsor is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver excellent customer experiences at the front end of the store in East Windsor, NJ. You will scan, price and bag items, handle payments, and provide efficient checkout service while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include accurate cash handling, assisting customers, and promoting current promotions. The role requires good English communication, basic math, and physical stamina to lift and move product

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Friendly and professional interaction with customers.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, accurate checkout service and friendly assistance to customers.
• Scan, price and bag products; collect payment and give correct change.
• Maintain clean, safe front-end area and follow QA standards.
• Follow cash handling procedures and promote current promotions.
• Process various payment methods per company guidelines.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service and product location help.
• Adhere to safety, policy, and attendance requirements.
