Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking an entry-level Front End Team Member to support check-out processes, operate cash registers, bag groceries, and assist at the customer service desk.

You will help maintain attractive displays, follow health and safety regulations, and promote the Whole Foods Market customer service vision while working a flexible schedule in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows cash, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Rings up items using proper POS procedures.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas and registers.
• Adheres to cash handling procedures and cashier variance policies.
• May assist with training new Cashier staff.
• Help manage customer flow and reduce wait times.
• Participates in company programs as directed by leadership.
• Arrives on time and collaborates with team to meet required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
• Optimizes shelving, stocking and merchandising of products.
• Follows safety, health, and quality procedures.
