Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help customers complete purchases with friendly, efficient service at the checkout.

You will keep the front end organized, rotate tasks such as handling transactions, bagging, restocking, and maintaining the checkout area to support a fast-paced shopper flow.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout with friendly and efficient service
• Process transactions accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments
• Scan items, bag groceries, and help complete purchases
• Keep the front-end area organized, clean, and stocked throughout the shift
• Restock supplies, collect carts, and maintain checkout area for smooth operation
• Respond to pricing, transaction, or customer service questions as needed
• Follow store policies, register procedures, and checkout processes
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow during the shift
• Stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Support broader front-end duties as required by current store needs
