Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member for our Mesa, AZ location. You’ll help create a smooth checkout experience, assist customers, and ensure accurate transactions while maintaining a clean and organized front-end.

The role involves scanning, bagging, restocking, and adapting to busy periods. A flexible schedule with mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; previous cashier training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout and provide friendly service
• Process purchases including cash, card, and digital payments
• Scan items, bag groceries, and maintain accurate pricing
• Keep the front-end clean, organized, and stocked for a smooth checkout
• Handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing customer flow during shifts
