Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to create a smooth checkout experience and help customers complete purchases. You will scan items, handle payments, bag groceries, and answer questions with a friendly, efficient approach.

You will also keep the front-end area organized, assist with cart retrieval, stocking, and general upkeep during a fast-paced shift. Flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• Age requirements: 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state rules).
• Completion of cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate checkout; scan items and process payments.
• Bag groceries and assist customers on the front end.
• Answer questions and resolve basic issues at the register.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and balance registers.
• Keep the front-end area clean and organized throughout shifts.
