Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth checkout experience for customers. You’ll scan items, bag groceries, answer questions, and help finalize purchases with friendly, efficient service.

You’ll also rotate between tasks like handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area in a fast-paced environment. Flexible shifts and a team-focused culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements).
• Completion of cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately using cash, card, and digital payments.
• Assist customers at checkout and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Keep the front-end area clean, organized, and functioning smoothly.
• Restock supplies and manage carts as needed.
