Metcalfe's Market in Madison, WI is hiring for a part-time cashier role. You will operate the register and scanner to itemize purchases, accept payments, bag items, and ensure courteous customer service across a variety of product categories.

You will also promote loyalty programs, manage pricing accuracy, and maintain a clean, well-stocked front-end. Prior retail experience and strong communication are preferred; high school diploma or GED is desired.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized; ability to handle cash handling procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Operate cash register and electronic scanner to itemize customer purchases and total amounts.
• Process various payment methods accurately (cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, coupons).
• Bag customer purchases and maintain front-end cleanliness and organization.
• Inform customers about store programs, in-store specials, and coupons; uphold high service standards.
