Qualifications

• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk
• High school diploma or GED; or combination of relevant education and experience
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work weekends and various shifts
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Perform cashier functions including opening/closing register, ringing sales, tender transactions, bagging merchandise
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area to housekeeping standards
• Answer telephones and respond to customer inquiries
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders and transfers, bill pay, gift cards, and purchase orders
• Provide lottery service and licenses as applicable
• Promote and follow company initiatives
• Maintain store accounting functions and prepare bank deposits of excess funds
