Qualifications

• Experience working with the public and handling cash transactions.
• Ability to perform basic math and maintain register accuracy.
• Knowledge of produce codes and ability to differentiate items.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist during transactions.
• Assist customers while ringing up or weighing items.
• Bag groceries efficiently and keep the area organized.
• Verify and balance the cash register at shift start and end.
• Process payments (cash, credit, debit, EBT, checks) and coupons.
• Check IDs for tobacco/liquor purchases and card/check payments.
• Maintain price integrity and register procedures.
• Refill bagging area and keep workstation clean.
• Perform duties of a courtesy clerk as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Front End Manager.
