This role processes transactions, assists customers, promotes company programs, follows cash-handling procedures, and helps maintain a clean, welcoming front end.

Greet customers, handle cash and card transactions, answer questions, and support store operations with a collaborative, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and other technology.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to remain positive, professional, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling, returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes.
• Answer customer questions and provide basic product information.
• Educate customers about the Rural King Loyalty Program, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan (RKPPP).
• Respond to store calls using professional phone etiquette.
• Coordinate with loaders and associates to promptly address customer needs.
• Reconcile registers, complete required paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
