Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking entry-level Cashier Team Members to provide responsive customer service and accurate checkout experience. You will maintain the front end area, follow cash handling procedures, and assist in training new team members while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include efficient checkout, handling alcohol regulations, stocking, and participating in company programs. Ability to work flexible schedules and lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Responsibilities

• Check out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Uphold regulations on sale of alcohol and taxation.
• Follow proper checkout procedures for cash, ATM, and credit.
• Stock and maintain Front End areas and registers.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store.
• Assist training of new Cashier Team Members as needed.
• Help supervise customer flow and reduce wait times.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote suggestive selling.
• Ensure pricing and signs are accurate during shifts.
• Report safety hazards or violations promptly.
