Whole Foods Market in Wheaton, IL is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Cashier to join our Front End team. You will ring up groceries, assist customers, and help maintain attractive displays.

No prior retail experience is required; training provided. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. We offer Whole Benefits and a store discount.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register.
• Follows cash handling procedures – meeting and exceeding policy.
• Assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and reducing wait times.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper merchandising and suggestive selling.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
