Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas and registers.
• Follows cash handling procedures and supervisor guidance.
• May assist with training of new Cashier team members.
• Assist supervisor in controlling customer flow and reduce waiting time.
• Participates in company programs as directed by leadership.
• Arrives on time and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and assists customers promptly.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper merchandising and stocking.
