Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; or relevant education and experience
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk
• Minimum 18 years of age/19 in Idaho/19 in Alaska if selling tobacco
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work weekends, any shift, and overtime as needed
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks/projects
• Accuracy and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure
• Related retail experience

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent customer service and encouraging others to do the same
• Performing cashier functions: opening/closing register, ringing sales, completing transactions, bagging merchandise, making money drops, knowing produce codes
• Maintaining checkstand area cleanliness and completing price discrepancy logs
• Answering telephones and complying with all policies
• Promoting company initiatives and verifying electronic article surveillance tags
• Responding to alarm activations and tag removal verification

Store accounting duties include maintaining functions and preparing bank deposits.

Customer Service Desk tasks include opening/closing the desk, processing refunds, exchanges, money orders, transfers, bill pay, gift cards, and more. Providing lottery and license services, managing lost and found, running reports, and supporting a cooperative work environment are also required.
