Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a role focused on planning the production, test and inspection of printed circuit boards, addressing manufacturability with customers and coordinating with Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering.

You will maintain and control customer and government documentation, generate CAD/CAM packages, develop impedance predictions and stack‑up/Fabrication drawings, and support front-end engineering and manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two-year associate's degree is viewed favorably.
• 1-2 years Front End Engineering, CAD/CAM, or Programming experience.
• 2-3 years PCB manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews customer data packages, including drawings, specifications, CAD/CAM artwork, and quality requirements, and generates instructive packages for CAD/CAM and manufacturing.
• Communicates directly with the customer when there are upfront concerns regarding design for manufacturability, offers options for improvement.
• Works with manufacturing and quality to resolve issues that may arise during the build and/or inspection and test processes.
• Maintains and controls customer and government documentation, and interacts with Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering regarding nonstandard products and processes.
• Communicates regularly with Managers and Supervisors, suggests and composes procedural changes, maintains a clean, safe work environment and communicates to Supervisors safety hazards and issues.
• Calculates initial impedance prediction models.
• Creates proposed material stack-up models.
• Creates proposed tab array fabrication drawings.
