Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Keizer, Oregon seeks a Front-End Team Member to create a smooth checkout experience. You will scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers while keeping the lane fast and friendly.

You will handle transactions accurately, maintain a clean, organized front end, restock as needed, and adapt to changing customer flow throughout the shift. Prior customer service is appreciated but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state requirements).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately at the checkout.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers.
• Answer questions and resolve pricing or policy questions.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean checkout area.
• Follow store procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist with cart retrieval and front-end upkeep.
