Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help ensure a smooth checkout experience. You will scan items, process payments and assist customers with questions, while keeping the front-end area organized and efficient.

You will rotate tasks such as bagging, restocking, and maintaining the checkout area, thriving in a busy, fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and friendly service.

Qualifications

• Friendly, clear communication during checkout and customer assistance.
• Processing purchases accurately, including cash, card and digital payments.
• Accurate scanning, pricing, produce codes and order completion.
• Handling cash transactions, counting change and balancing registers.
• Managing multiple tasks while maintaining steady workflow.
• Assisting with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking and front-end upkeep.
• Recognizing and addressing pricing or service questions.
• Following store policies, register procedures and checkout processes.
• Adapting to changing tasks and customer flow throughout shifts.
• Comfort with standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
