Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to deliver excellent customer service and maintain organized shelves in our Fairfield, TN location.

You’ll handle daily tasks such as stocking, operating registers, processing payments, and following security procedures. No prior experience is required, and you’ll work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment that values reliability and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Fills the shelves and rotate items if necessary.
• Picks up floor, clears carts, cleans and stocks registers, fills bag stations.
• Goes to parking lot to bring in carts and perform night maintenance as directed.
• Verifies information on checks and if acceptable, enters and tenders in register system.
• Ensures coupons are valid and properly entered.
• Maintains a neat and organized till.

Job description

Provide excellent customer service to all customers! The associate is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to weather conditions.

• Ensures coupons are valid and properly entered.
• Maintains a neat and organized till.
• Adheres to company policies on the handling and sales of liquor and tobacco.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by manager.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to treat each customer with respect and in a friendly manner. Ability to bag groceries properly. Ability to accurately count back change.
