Job summary

Optical Outlets is seeking a friendly and organized patient assistant to support doctors and the office manager in delivering excellent patient flow. You will greet customers, explain exam pricing, verify insurance, and help with eyewear dispensing.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced ophthalmic setting. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in related field.
• Effective verbal communication skills to prioritize multiple tasks and to be available for incoming calls and inquiries.
• Effective written communication skills to clearly document patient visits.
• Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to ask appropriate and relevant questions to identify patient needs.
• Ability to listen, process transactions and interact with patients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
