Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or equivalent hospitality experience.
• Previous brand experience highly desirable.
• Strong leader of people.
• Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Reliable with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Familiar with common computer software programs.
• Must be willing to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of day-to-day Front Office operations to ensure adherence to Colwen Hotels and brand standards and meet guest and business expectations.
• Assist in interviewing and supervising Front Office Associates.
• Process check-in/check-out, verify billing, create reservations, and handle special requests.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hotel and local attractions to assist guests.
• Maintain open collaborative relationships with direct reports and management.
• Investigate and resolve all guest service or accommodation complaints promptly.
• Monitor budgets and payroll; review financial transactions for appropriateness.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of processes for efficiency improvements.
• Coach Front Office team to manage occupancy, guest service, and expenses.
• Identify service issues and provide solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Balance cost controls with guest service and associate satisfaction.
• Maintain strict key controls and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies and labor laws.
• Perform other duties as needed.
